Onion rings are a perfect side dish for just about everything, including burgers, sandwiches and salads.
They are also great as appetizers before dinner and incredible with soup. I like them with tomato soup. Talk about good. Try this thin ‘n crispy onion rings recipe with tomato soup and you will love it – provided you like tomato soup.
One of the best things about these golden rings is it doesn’t take long to prepare and cook them. You can serve them in about fifteen minutes or less from start to finish. No kidding.
So don’t worry. If you are pressed for time and want something delicious to go with your sandwich, you can whip up a batch and get back to the office with time to spare.
I made homemade French fries when I was growing up, but I did not make these golden rings until I became an adult. And that was after I tried an order at a fast food restaurant.
One bite was all it took to peak my curiosity and make me want to make my own at home. And boy did I ever. Once I figured out how to make them, I was cooking them just about every weekend.
