Mouthwatering, oven roasted Cornish hen. That’s it. That is one of my favorite meats to serve at my family’s Christmas dinner. Don’t get me wrong. I enjoy mouthwatering spiral baked ham with a light brown sugar glaze, roast beef with onion gravy, and prime rib roast with or without the bone. However, in my humble opinion, there is nothing like a tender, juicy, succulent, oven roasted Cornish hen smothered in butter and perfectly seasoned with course sea salt, black pepper, paprika, and Weber Kick’ N Chicken™ seasoning. Oh yeah. Now you’re talking. One bite is all it takes to tickle your taste buds and make your lips curl into a wide smile.
Served on a platter surrounded by roasted purple grapes or your favorite fruit, an oven roasted Cornish hen makes a stunning presentation on any festively decorated table. Incredible sides, including green bean casserole, oven roasted sweet potatoes, creamy macaroni and cheese, light and fluffy, homemade, dinner rolls, and homemade pound cake add up to a delightful culinary experience that is guaranteed to make your holiday brighter.
Family and friends gathered around the dinner table, will laugh and talk after saying grace, then share uplifting family stories and offer gratitude for their Blessings. They will relish the fact that they are all together, wrapped in the spirit of the holiday as they enjoy each others company.
